When the Big 3 - Yahoo!, Google and Microsoft start to focus on something you can be quite sure that it is the next big thing. They all have their own blog services and now all of them want to take their part in the online map business cake. Yahoo! and Google have already have their map services and Microsoft announced that soon they will launch Virtual Earth map service. It is pretty obvious why there is so much interest in maps. It offers great way for local and contextual advertising. This will make a new online advertising channel.
